Instructions

    • 1

Take the graph paper and draw a design on a plane. The body of the plane will need to have two slits in the body shape. Draw a tail and the plane's wing. Make sure you allow for small notches that will be in the center of the wing and tail pieces. These pieces will fit into the plane body's slits and will hold the plane securely. You can make several drawings of small and bigger planes and then use the best drawing.

    • 2

Use sharp scissors and cut out the plane drawing. Use thick foam for the body of the plane and thin foam for the wings and tail on the plane's body. Lay the paper sample flat on the foam and then trace onto the craft foam.

    • 3

Take the ruler and measure the width of the middle of the plane's wing; now using that width, cut a slit into the body's width.

    • 4

Cut a slit into the end of the plane's body for the plane's tail. This should be the exact width of the tail's middle.

    • 5

Take the wing and tail and insert into the plane's body.

    • 6

Take a bolt and push a hole into the nose of the plane. This will give the RC plane extra weight.
