How to Make a Bird Caller

Artificial bird callers aid bird-watching enthusiasts by simulating the natural call of many species of birds, from starlings to robins. The calls can swiftly attract birds near to the watchers' waiting binoculars. Early bird callers were often used for hunting larger bird species and were made of bamboo, hollow wood, clay, dry gourds and animal or human bones. Now, the most popular bird callers are made of plastic.
