Things You'll Need
Instructions
Create four panels of equal size using the 2-by-4s and galvanized nails. Be sure to include a gate on one of the panels for you to access the bird aviary. The size of the panels will depend on the size bird aviary you want to build.
Stretch 1/4-inch wire mesh over each panel. If you're housing small birds in your bird aviary you may want to double the wire mesh to prevent escape.
Connect the panels to form the bird aviary. Secure the 2-by-4s together using galvanized nails.
Cover the top of the bird aviary with wire mesh. If you reside in an area where it snows or rains frequently you may want to consider making a sloped roof instead of using wire mesh for the top. You can also place the bird aviary under an overhang.
Include plenty of perches or small trees inside the bird aviary. This gives spots for your bird to roost and also provides an area for the bird to build a nest.
