How to Remove Found Geocaches on Oregon 200

Instead of storing all of your found caches on your Oregon 200 GPS device, you can permanently delete them. You can't do this directly on the GPS device; instead, you have to connect your device to a computer where you can access and delete any geocache files you no longer need. Be careful when deleting files from your Oregon 200, as you don't want to remove essential files and unfound caches.

     Connect your Oregon 200 GPS to your computer.

     Find the device files on your computer. Click on "My Computer" and look under "Devices with Removable Storage."

     Click on the device to view its files.

     Highlight the geocaches you want to delete and press the "Delete" key on your keyboard. Geocache files have the .gpx file extension.

     Disconnect your GPS from your computer when you are finished.
