Look at the size of handwriting. Generally, larger handwriting suggests a desire for attention or a proclivity for self-expression. Conversely, smaller handwriting indicates a desire to remain unnoticed or to keep a low profile.
Look at the straightness of the writing. Straight, rigid lines suggest self-organization or self-control. Sloppy or heavily leaning lines may be the product of a less organized mind.
Evaluate the slant of the handwriting. Writing that leans strongly to the right suggests an outgoing personality, impulsiveness or perhaps nervous behavior. Left-leaning writing may indicate caution or introversion.
Analyze the baseline, which is the line (real or imaginary) along which you write. An upward slanting baseline suggests optimism or hopefulness, while a baseline that slopes downward may suggest fatigue or pessimism.
