Alinco Dj-180 Operating Instructions

Amateur radio, called ham radio, is the private use of designated radio frequencies for recreational communications. Ham radio usage requires a license and operators are only allowed to communicate with other licensed operators. Although many operators use base stations in their homes, handheld transmitter/receivers are also commonly used. The Alinco DJ-180 is a handheld unit that allows a user to send and receive ham radio communications remotely. The Alinco can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter can be used to plug the unit into a power source.
