Things You'll Need
Instructions
Draw a long, straight line almost vertical on the drawing sheet. Use a ruler to draw another line next to the first line as if drawing a pipe, but do not draw it parallel. Create the line so it very gradually gets narrower at the lower end. For best results, the lower half end width of the clarinet should be less than one quarter of the upper half end.
Draw the mouthpiece by outlining a small rectangle at the lower mouth of the pipe-like object you just drew. Draw the metal reed attachment by making an oval in the middle end of the mouthpiece. From there, two lines should go up and two lines down from the circle on either side, attached to the mouthpiece.
Draw two horizontal lines in a slight curve to spate the lower and upper joints.
Draw five ovals about the same size of the mouthpiece -- these are the keys of the clarinet. Draw three in the upper half of the clarinet and two in the lower half.
Draw the thrill keys by adding a tiny half-size parallel line with a slight curve along the side closing with the body. Add keys in the placement you think best (various clarinets have different placement for thrill keys).
