How to Use the Bird Wattmeter 4421 in Line

A wattmeter measures radio frequency power. While they are popular with amateur radio enthusiasts, they have industrial and laboratory uses as well. The Bird 4421 is intended for laboratory applications which require a high degree of accuracy. On the 4421, there is a large display screen next to three range selection buttons. Below this lies a row of seven function buttons, and the "on" and "off" button. The 4421 must be used in combination with a radio frequency power sensor.
