How to Replace a Lost FCC License

Amateur radio operators, also known as hams, are required to have a license that is issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) before they are allowed to transmit over the air. In order to obtain an amateur radio license, the prospective ham must pass a test. If the prospective ham successfully passes the test he is issued a license. The license is a legal document that must be posted at the location at which she is transmitting, or else be in the ham's possession. Consequently, if the license is lost or destroyed, the license must be replaced.
