Instructions
Have an ear mold made by a audiologist or hearing aid specialist who sells Musician's Earplugs. The audiologist will instruct an authorized Earmold Lab to make a set of durable earplugs custom fit for you. There are 14 authorized Earmold Lab facilities across the America, as well as four in Canada. Prices and availability vary by location.
After receiving the earplugs in the mail, identify the left bud from the right bud. The red dot on one mold signifies the right ear lobe, and the blue dot signifies the left. Moisten each bud, then pull your ear outward and upward while you ease the ear piece into the canal.
Test your earplugs for comfort. Once you feel resistance, do not force the earbuds in any farther. It should feel snug without feeling tight.
Test the earplugs for noise reduction. Turn up your speakers or plug in an and play an instrument to see how effective the noise reduction is. Adjust sound levels to achieve the right level while wearing the earplugs. Knowing the range and limits of your ER 25 earplugs helps to create a more effective music making or listening experience.
