Place the cardboard square on a table. Apply white glue to the center and corners of the square. Press the cotton pad against the cardboard. Hold the pad against the cardboard for two minutes. Let the glue set for about one hour.
Tie the end of a monofilament wire to the metal tab on the front end of the mousetrap. Apply a dab of bonding glue to the wire where it meets the tab.
Turn the cardboard square over. Apply bonding glue to the center and corners. Turn the cardboard over. Lift the spring bar on the mousetrap all the way back. Place the side of the cardboard that has the glue against the side of the bar that faces the tab. Let the bar go back down on the tab. Let the glue set overnight.
Place the back end of your Airsoft-type claymore mine on the ground in the location where you want to ambush the enemy. Angle the front up at a 45 degree angle. Push dirt around the mine to keep it in this position. Place a rock on each side and at the front and at the back up against the mine. Cover the rocks with dirt.
Pull the spring bar on the mousetrap back. Run the hooking latch through the slot in the corner of the bar. Release your hold on the spring bar. Place 15 to 20 Airsoft pellets on the top of the cardboard.
Run the monofilament wire across the ground to behind a tree. Hide behind the tree. Pull the wire when an enemy is standing next to the mine to fire the pellets.
