How to Make a Pipette

A pipette is a small, slender, glass or plastic tube used for picking up and transporting small droplets of material from one container to another in a laboratory setting. Pipettes are also used by model enthusiasts to remove the paint from enamel or acrylic paint containers and place it on a palette for color mixing. While laboratory workers may have a ready supply of new pipettes, many modelers do not. If you lost or broke your pipette, you can use a small coffee stirring straw as a replacement.
