Instructions
Place the charger and battery on a solid, uncarpeted surface in a well-ventilated area. Connect the charger to a power source, then attach the charger clips to the battery pack you want to recharge. The battery's voltage will then appear on the screen.
Initiate the charging process by pressing the "Start" button on the charger. The first 60 seconds is the battery diagnostic period. The LCD on the charger will display "Test" and the red light will flash. After the testing period, the LCD display status will change to "Charge" and the red light will remain solid. Charging can be stopped at any time during the charge cycle by pressing the "Start" button a second time.
Press the "Display" button during charging to see the charge rate, time remaining and voltage status of the battery. When the charge cycle is complete, the unit will beep three times and automatically begin a 50-minute trickle charge cycle. During this cycle, the display will read "Charge" and the red light will blink. At the end of the trickle charge cycle, the unit will go blank and enter a sleep mode.
When the trickle charge cycle ends, unplug the charging unit from the power source and remove the clips from the battery pack. The battery now is fully charged and ready for use.
