Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove debris from the track. The track will accumulate dirt, dust, food and other junk over the course of time. Any such item can ruin your Disney Monorail's speed. Use compressed air to blow debris from the track, then vacuum the track.
Remove the monorail car from the track. Spray the wheels and other external components with WD-40. This will reduce the friction and increase the speed by optimizing the contact points between the train and the track.
Lubricate the interior parts of the train car. Gears need to be regularly lubricated to maximize efficiency. Once you've completed this, place the train back on the track. You will notice a significant speed boost.
