Things You'll Need
Instructions
Flip your Thomas the train locomotive upside down. You will notice that the wheels on the toy are attached to the locomotive by two different plastic blocks and held in place by little bits of plastic that come across the axle.
Unscrew the screws holding the plastic blocks onto the locomotive using a triangular screwdriver.
Saw off the little pieces of plastic that are holding the axles of the toy wheels in place using a handsaw.
Lift the toy wheels up and away from the plastic blocks.
Insert the model train wheels into the slots that the toy wheels were removed from and replace the plastic blocks onto the locomotive.
Screw the blocks into place and apply a strip of tape so that the model train wheels don't slip out of the slots. It doesn't matter what tape you use so long as it sticks to the plastic blocks.
