Find the terminal section of the N scale model railroad track. This is the section of track that connects to the transformer, supplying power to the track.
Measure the distance from the terminal section of the track to the transformer with a tape measure.
Cut two lengths of bell wire the distance of the terminal section of the track to the transformer with wire clippers.
Remove a few centimeters of insulation from the ends of the bell wire lengths with a wire stripper.
Unscrew the screws on the terminal section of the track with a screwdriver.
Wrap the end of one length of bell wire around a screw in the terminal section of the track.
Wrap the end of the other length of bell wire around the other screw in the terminal section of the track.
Tighten the screws in the terminal track, securing the bell wires in place.
Disconnect all power to the transformer and unscrew the contact screws on the transformer with a screwdriver.
Wrap the loose end of one of the bell wires around a contact screw on the transformer.
Wrap the loose end of the other bell wire around the other contact screw on the transformer.
Tighten the screws on the transformer to secure the bell wires to the transformer.
Restore power to the transformer. Your N scale track is powered and ready to use.
