How to Create Vintage Photography

Finding old photographs of your ancestors can be an exciting experience. Even though the pictures are often in black and white or yellowed with age, something about these vintage photos invokes a feeling of nostalgia. If you like the old-fashioned feel of these vintage pictures, edit your photographs to give them an old-time look using one of several websites designed to help you edit and print vintage photographs.

Instructions

Create a free account at Photobucket (photobucket.com) and upload the photo you want to edit. Hover your mouse over the photo. Open the "Edit" menu and select "See much more." Click the "retro" tab at the top of the page, which allows you to choose from a yellowing effect, sepia or black and white. Note that you can alter the strength of the yellowing. Click "Apply" when you are finished and save the photo to your Photobucket account where you can print or digitally distribute the photo.
