How to Work FTA Puff Files

A free-to-air (FTA) satellite receiver does not involve any subscription fees in order to access satellite transmissions. The operating system of the FTA requires periodic updating of a ̶0;PUFF̶1; file that provides the system with needed information. Loading in a PUFF file that has been downloaded on a computer and placed on a USB thumb drive is a straightforward procedure.
