Examine the RC transmitter channel socket and the plug end of the RC switch to locate the signal pin on the switch that is not used. The "unused" pin will line up with an empty pin slot on the on the RC transmitter channel socket.
Pull out the "unused" pin to remove it. Plug the RC switch into the RC transmitter channel socket.
Insert the opposite end of the RC switch to the RC power supply wire port. Turn on the RC device. Look for the RC switch LED to light up, as this means it is receiving the proper amount of power to control the switch.
Attach the wires of the device you are going to control to the RC switch. Start by cutting one strand of the wires that connect to the electric plug of the device with wire cutters. Strip 1/2 inch of the insulating jacket off the cut ends of the wire with wire strippers. Insert the stripped wire ends into the corresponding slots on the RC switch relay. Attach the RC switch relay to a portable RC receiver.
Insert the plug end of the RC battery to the portable RC receiver. Set the RC device's transmitting channels to match the channel of the RC receiving device that has a switch on it. Plug the electronic device into an electrical socket. Use the RC to turn the device on and off.
