How to Make a Humidistat

A humidistat is a device that is used with a central air conditioning unit that provides cold air to prevent mold and mildew buildup. If you are using a window mounted air conditioner you can make your own humidistat by using a standard timer. Your timer will activate the air conditioner at specific times of the day to help control the humidity levels.
