Things You'll Need
Instructions
Select one vehicle and refer to its documentation. Remove the MRC MT-10S exterior body and expose the vehicle's engine and transmission. Remove the vehicle's power supply. Remove the wires from the engine and transmission components. Use the screwdriver to remove the screws securing the engine to the chassis. Use the screwdriver and pliers to remove the transmission from the engine. Repeat this procedure with the second vehicle.
Identify the components in the first vehicle transmission requiring replacement. Look for worn pieces and broken parts. Use the vehicle's documentation to identify these part numbers. Remove these components. Divide these components into two groups: parts needing repair and parts needing replacement.
Insert the glue cartridge into the glue gun until it sits firmly in the tool. Plug in the glue gun and allow it several minutes to warm up. Choose a part requiring repair. Press the glue gun tip to the part's broken edges and clamp these edges together until the glue sets. Repeat this process on all parts requiring repair.
Locate working replacement parts in the second MRC MT-10S truck's transmission. Examine these components to verify their operation.
Assemble the transmission using replacement and repaired parts. Use screwdriver and pliers to replace the transmission and engine in the vehicle. Replace the vehicle's exterior body. Restore the power supply.
