How to Hook Up a Guitar Strap to a Kid's Guitar

If your child is just learning how to play the guitar, it̵7;s important that they have a strap to help hold the guitar in place, tight to the body. Since most guitars, especially for children, are set up to have straps, it̵7;s quite simple to attach it to a guitar.

Instructions

      Lay both the guitar and the strap on a flat surface

      Find the strap pins. One will be located near the lower bout of the guitar where the bridge is attached. The other will be at the base of the neck near the top horn of the guitar.

      Place the strap down with its adjustment end facing the bottom part of the guitar.

      Attach the upper pinhole on the top of the guitar strap to the strap pin on the guitar.

      Attach the lower pinhole strap on the lower strap pin of the guitar.
