Things You'll Need
Instructions
Pick a transparent glass container that can endure high temperatures without cracking. This will hold the candle.
Pour hot glue into the bottom of the glass container, filling it evenly at the bottom so it covers the surface area.
Push the zinc candlewick and tab into the middle of the glue at the bottom of the glass, allowing it to settle and cool.
Place gel wax cubes into a pot on the stove. You should have enough cubes that, when they're melted, they fill three-quarters of the glass. For many smaller glasses, the cubes should be measured to about 2 cups. Discard any extra, if necessary.
Turn the stove on to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat the gel until it becomes a syrupy liquid.
Add a one-half ounce of potpourri liquid to the gel.
Warm the candle container to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Place on a level surface.
Pour the potpourri and gel mixture into the glass container. Avoid pouring onto the wick.
Straighten the wick. Allow the candle to settle for four hours before using.
