Instructions
Remove the speaker from the top of the stand and place it aside. Place a spirit level horizontally on the top of the speaker. Take turns angling the top of the speaker left and right until the bubble in the level is between the two imprinted lines. Fold a piece of cardboard in half. Place the cardboard beneath the speaker leg, opposite the way the top is leaning. Place additional folded pieces of cardboard beneath the leg until the bubble on the level stays between the two lines. Place the speaker back on the top of the speaker stand.
Take the speaker off the top of the speaker stand and place it in a safe place. Place the speaker stand on its side. WInd the latching plate around the leg above the base where the telescoping leg comes out. Loosen the locking tab. Rotate the locking tab counterclockwise until it comes free of the telescoping leg. Pull the tab off the telescoping leg. Position the locking tab against the telescoping leg where the locking tab was previously. Pull the belt of the locking plate to tighten the plate against the leg. Screw the insert screws into the locking plate with the Torx screwdriver. Stand the speaker stand back up. Place the speaker back on the speaker stand.
Take the speaker off the speaker stand. Loosen the locking tab on each of the stand's telescoping legs. Pull each of the legs out as far as they will go. Shake the can of lubricating spray for 10 seconds. Spray the length of each leg with the lubrication. Run the telescoping leg in and out of the stand. Return each leg to the length that it was in previously. Tighten the locking tabs. Place the speaker back on the speaker stand.
