Things You'll Need
Instructions
Arrange your cubicle so that the walls are as close together as possible. Leave just a narrow opening for entry.
Remove all the contents from the cubicle except a desk and a chair. Place your light source on the desk facing the chair. The light can be as simple as a lamp, but it should be strong enough to fully illuminate a subject in the dark. If you are using a camera with a built-in flash, you should still include a light source so people can see the camera clearly when they enter the booth.
Place the camera on the tripod. If you're using the built-in camera on a computer or laptop, you can simple rest the computer on the table facing the chair. If you're using a computer, you may find it more fun to download free photo booth software that augments and distorts the image of the photo.
Place several blankets over the top of the cubicle. If they do not stay in place, you may need to use tape to affix them to the side of the cubicle.
Make a backdrop for your photos by taping a sheet on the back wall of the cubicle. Use a simple, single-colored sheet. Colors like black and white often work best.
Place a final blanket over the entrance to the cubicle and tape it in place. You can also tape one side of the blanket to the cubicle to make it more secure. Leave one side of the blanket untaped so people can enter and leave easily. The inside of the cubicle should now be totally dark when the light source is turned off.
Enter your new photo booth and test it out. Check to make sure that the lighting is bright enough, the booth is dark enough and the camera is taking clear pictures.
