Instructions

    • 1

Screw a 500-watt bulb into your photography lamp.

    • 2

Position your light directly over the wooden object you wish to photograph. This is the best way to shine light on wooden objects. For best results, adjust your photography lamp so that the light stands roughly twice as high as the object.

    • 3

Place a photography umbrella or soft box directly beneath your light. This will serve to soften the light and eliminate glare.

    • 4

Photograph your wooden objects. If you notice any glare or the lighting seems a little off, adjust your photography lamp, umbrella and soft box accordingly.
