Instructions

    • 1

Wash the person̵7;s forehead with soap and water. Pat the forehead dry with a bath towel. Put a skull cap on the person̵7;s head. Wrap a sheet of cellophane around the forehead. Run strips of filament tape around the front of the cellophane wrap, Continue to do this until a four strip-deep layer has been made.

    • 2

Remove the cellophane tape from the person̵7;s head. Place the cellophane on a wig block. Trace the cellophane area of the forehead on the block with a grease pencil. Place the polyester lace piece on the forehead area Hold the lace against the forehead area as you draw an outline on the lace with the grease pencil.

    • 3

Cut through the outline with scissors or a utility knife and dispose of the excess lace material. Apply bonding glue to one side of the lace material. Press the glued side of the lace material against the piece of fine lace material that is placed on a table. Cut around the lace material and through the fine lace material with a utility knife. Dispose of the excess fine lace material and let the glue set overnight.

    • 4

Place a piece of artificial hair that is the same color as that of the person who will be wearing it against the spikes on the inside of the the two holding blocks. Pull a few strands of hair out from one side of the two blocks.

    • 5

Insert the end of a strand through the hooking needle. Run the strands into the lace as you move from left to right using the needle. Continue this procedure until the lace is now completely covered with strands of hair. The lace frontal is now ready to be attached to the person̵7;s forehead.
