Instructions
Thoroughly inspect every aspect of the transmitter that may be impeding the working parameters of the unit. Any corrosion or other damage to the unit must be replaced. Otherwise, readings could be erroneous or the unit may not work at all.
Ensure the cover of the unit is not damaged. It should be solid and waterproof. Thoroughly check the O-ring for any leakages that could be affecting the unit's operation.
Check for frayed or loose wiring and damaged insulation if you are suffering from less than 3.8mA (the minimum output you should getting). Replace or repair faulty wiring as necessary.
Have the manifold valve repaired so that it is able to open and close as required. This fault is often responsible for the output current shooting off the scale (20mA). This problem can often be remedied by clearing the process pipe of any clogging.
