How to Make a Wooden Banana Holder

Instructions

    • 1

Measure 1 inch away from the end of a 9-inch dowel and drill a 3/8-inch hole that is 3/4-inch deep. Glue a 4-inch dowel into the hole and let the glue dry according to its instructions.

    • 2

Measure 1 inch away from one of the edges of an 8-inch pine board and drill a 1-inch hole that is ¾-inches deep so it is centered, 4 inches away from the edges that are perpendicular to the edge you measured from.

    • 3

Position the 9-inch dowel into the 1-inch hole on the 8-inch board so the 4-inch dowel is 8 inches above and over the board.

    • 4

Rotate the 9-inch dowel so the 4-inch dowel perpendicular to the 8-inch edge that you measured 1-inch away from to drill the 1-inch hole. Glue the 9-inch dowel in this position and let the glue dry according to the instructions.

    • 5

Screw a 3-inch hook into the end of the 4-inch dowel. You will hang the bananas from this hook.
