How to Cut Lined Chrome Barrels

Many rifles have chrome-lined barrels, which can make cleaning the inside easier, but it may make the gun less accurate. • Measuring tape
• Chalk
• Band saw
• Fine-cut file

     Lay the gun on a flat surface. Measure where you would like the new gun barrel mark to be. Place a mark on the outside of the gun with a piece of chalk, so you know where to cut it.

     Slowly cut on the mark you made with a band saw. Move carefully, so you don't damage the gun.

     Smooth away any rough edges with a fine-cut file.
