Things You'll Need
Instructions
Secure floral pins to the bottom of your container with double-sided tape. Push floral foam down onto the pins to secure the foam inside the container.
Choose a relative shape for your arrangement that complements the shape of the container. An oval arrangement may best suit a short, round container, while a crescent shape (a long arrangement with one side taller than the other) may be best for a long, thin container. The shape should allow the focal flowers to be visible and prominent in the arrangement.
Put a few stems of greenery into the floral foam to outline the desired shape and height of your arrangement. This is the foundation for the shape of your arrangement.
Place your focal point flowers in the desired locations. Push the stems into the floral foam until the flowers are of the desired height and position. Use the height of your outlining greenery as a guide.
Fill in the rest of the arrangement with secondary flowers and more greenery. Use floral wire to secure some stems together if necessary to prevent shifting.
