Things You'll Need
Instructions
Drill two 1/4-inch holes through the piece of hardwood so they are spaced no closer than 1/4-inch apart. They should be at least 1/4-inch away from any edge of the board.
Insert and secure the plug drill bit into the drill press and center a hole that you drilled in the last step underneath the plug bit. This will ensure that your wood ear tunnel is even. Drill into the wood to remove the ear tunnel from the wood and repeat this process with the other hole.
Cut each wood ear tunnel into three equal-sized pieces with your ban saw. They will be 1/3-inch-by-1/2-inch.
Sand the circular side of each ear tunnel, paying specific attention to the 1/6-inch center. Sand this portion of the tunnels more to help them stay in your earlobe. Sand the sharp edges of the corners of the ear tunnels so they can be comfortably inserted into your ears.
