Machines used to produce shrink wrap are something that are a vital -- but often overlooked -- part of many manufacturing lines. It is a process that can interrupted by a few problems that can be remedied, issues such as incorrect temperatures and erroneous speed selections. If you fix these problems, the machine should work.   Check the loading tray for any sharp edges if the film is splitting at the centerfold during operation. You should also check to see if the roll has been dropped as you seek a reason for this issue.

  Speed up the tunnel conveyor if you are suffering from burn holes. It is worth noting this issue could also be caused by the tunnel temperature being too high or even a wrongly positioned air evacuation hole.

  Check the hole punch for striker alignment or damaged dye if you suffer from the film splitting at the hole punch.

  Check the condition of a sealing pad and Teflon tape if there is excessive smoke being produced during operation. It is also advisable to check for even clamp pressure and ensure the seal is made with minimum wire temperature.

  Increase the tunnel temperature to avoid erratic shrinking. You should also consider slowing down the tunnel conveyor to solve this issue.
