How to Change a H&K MP5 Barrel

The MP5 is a tactical 9mm submachine gun manufactured by H&K (Heckler and Koch). It is a widely used weapon that is popular among military units as well as security teams. Like any gun, it is imperative that you maintain your MP5 with regular cleaning. Failure to do so could result in damage to the components. If you have found yourself with a damaged component on your MP5 you can swap it out for a new one.

Instructions

  Press the "magazine release" button where the magazine connects with the weapon and slide the magazine out of the weapon.

  Pull the bolt on the side of the weapon back in order to verify that there isn't a round in the chamber.

  Pull out the bolt on the right side of the front of the grip, just before the end of the barrel.

  Pull the grip off of the weapon to expose the entire barrel.

  Unscrew the barrel where it meets the body of the weapon and set the old barrel aside.

  Screw the new barrel in and replace the support grip and replace the bolt.
