Painting With String Gel

Place a sheet of newspaper on a table. Place a piece of construction paper vertically on the newspaper. Draw a face on the paper that consists of a pair of circles side by side for the eyes, a horizontal line above each eye for the eyebrows and a circle for the nose below and between the eyes. Draw a circle at each side of the eyes for the ears.

Draw a half circle beneath the nose with the ends pointing up to be a smiling mouth.

Shake the can of black string gel for 10 seconds. Place the nozzle of the can 2 inches away from the left end of the mouth that you have drawn. Press the push-button on top of the can to dispense the gel. Run the gel along the lines of the mouth until you reach the other end. Release the push-button and place the can aside.

Repeat this procedure to fill each of the circles that are the ears with black gel.

Shake the can of fluorescent green string gel for 10 seconds. Place the nozzle of the can 2 inches away from the circle that is the left eye. Press the push-button on the top of the can to dispense the gel. Fill the circle with the fluorescent green gel. Repeat this procedure to fill the circle that is the right eye.

Shake the can of fluorescent pink string gel for 10 seconds. Place the nozzle of the can 2 inches away from the left end of the horizontal line to your left that is an eyebrow. Press the push-button to dispense the gel. Run the gel along the line to the right side. Repeat this procedure to cover the horizontal line to your right with the gel.

Shake the can of waterproof sealant for 20 seconds. Hold the nozzle of the can 2 inches from the upper left corner of the construction paper. Press the push-button to dispense the sealant. Run the can around the paper in a clockwise motion that ends with the spray meeting the center of the paper. Let the sealant set for the time specified in its instructions before applying another coating.
