Run a strip of duct tape along the sides of the two tubes where they meet in the same manner as was just done.
Stand the tubes on the table. Run a line of bonding glue around the ends of the two tubes. Place the flat side of one of the objective lenses against one of the ends of the tubes. Press the lens against the tube and hold it there for one minute. Repeat this procedure with the other objective lens and the other tube̵7;s end. Let the glue set overnight before continuing.
Turn the tubes over. Run a line of bonding glue around the ends of each of the tubes. Place the flat side of one of the subjective lenses against the end of the tube. Press the lens against the tube and hold it there for one minute. Repeat this procedure with the other subjective lens and the end of the other tube. Let the glue set overnight.
Hold your working binoculars with the ends that have the subjective lenses against your eyes. Aim the other end of the binoculars off toward the horizon to see what your eyes alone can't see.
