How to Hang RC Planes

Remote controlled planes are fun to fly and look great in the air, but they can also double as decorations. Hanging your remote controlled plane is no different from hanging a model plane. There are as many ways to hang a plane as there are model plane enthusiasts, and some are more complicated and more difficult than others. The basic method, however, requires no more than a couple hooks and some fishing line.

Things You'll Need

2 eye hooks
Fishing line
Transparent tape

Instructions

  Screw the eye hooks into the ceiling above the place where you want the plane to hang. They should be the same distance apart as the width of your plane's body.

  Cut a length of fishing line 14-20 inches long. The exact length depends on how high you want your plane to hang.

  Tie loops at either end of the line. The loops should be 4-6 inches in diameter.

  Place the loops around each wing of the plane. The loops should rest at the base of the wing, touching the body of the plane.

  Hook the line onto the eye hooks. Adjust the plane so it hangs the way you would like it to. Then tape the loops on the plane's wings in place.
