How to Make Green Graffiti Ink

A durable and water-resistant ink can be made from liquefied items found in the average home's kitchen. This ink can be used to write words on surfaces, such as concrete walls and painted and unpainted surfaces, in the style of graffiti artists. The green color of the ink will make it stand out and attract attention, which is the purpose of graffiti in its purest sense. No special precautions must be taken for your hands or eyes because the ink is nontoxic

Instructions

    • 1

Put 8-10 walnuts into a tube sock. Roll the top of the sock to the bottom. Place the tube sock on the ground outside in your backyard. Pound the sock with a soft mallet until all of the walnuts are pulverized.

    • 2

Place a pot on the kitchen counter. Pour 8 ounces of tap water into a pot. Empty the contents of the sock into the pot. Stir the mixture inside the pot clockwise for 10 rotations with your finger.

    • 3

Add six drops of green food color to the mixture. Stir the mixture three turns clockwise with your finger. Add an additional six drops of green food coloring to the mixture. Stir the mixture with your finger for 10 more clockwise rotations.

    • 4

Set the heat on the stove's burner to "Simmer" or "Low," depending on how the stove is designed. Place the pot on the burner. Leave the pot on the burner for 30-40 minutes. Turn the burner off. Leave the pot on the burner overnight.

    • 5

Place a plastic container on the kitchen counter. Place the tea strainer over the top of the container. Pour the mixture from the pot into the container through the strainer. Leave the container alone for two hours so that all of the mixture strains through. Place the lid on the container to keep the ink from evaporating.
