Things You'll Need
Instructions
Browse through your current wardrobe and jewelry collection to find antique and rustic-looking clothing and accessories.
Find a shirt that is old and unused that you can rip. Use scissors to cut fringe at the bottom of your shirt and remove an arm to create a rugged pirate look. Striped shirts and pants will add a pirate vibe to your look.
Cut off the bottoms of a pair of striped pants using a pair of scissors, making each leg uneven and mismatched.
Use a kitchen or bath towel to wrap around your waist to use as a pirate's cloth sash.
Create a head scarf out of rags or washcloths by tying one around your head and into a knot in the back, securing it into place.
Wear open-toed sandals or worn work boots to complete your pirate outfit.
Cut a circle out of old fabric to create an eye patch. Attach it to your head by using string or elastic bands tied into the sides of the patch.
