Instructions
Locate the middle C on a piano. On a piano, this is the fifth C from the lowest note. On a keyboard it may be in a different location, depending on its size.
Harmonize with the middle C. Play the next lowest note and continue down the piano matching each note.
Stop when it is no longer comfortable to sing the note. Mark down the note where this happens. This is the bottom of your vocal range.
Return to the middle C and work your way up while singing until you reach a note that is too high to sing. Mark it down. This is the high end of your range.
Visit a vocal trainer. These trainers can help you identify your vocal range if you're having trouble figuring it out by yourself. Vocal trainers can also help you develop and improve your singing voice.
