Things You'll Need
Instructions
Shovel as much snow as possible into a large pile every time it snows. Unless the first snowfall of the season is extremely heavy, it will take several snowfalls before you have enough snow piled to begin making the slide. Make the pile as tall as you can by throwing snow from the ground up onto the pile.
Climb to the top of the pile and slowly slide on your backside down one side of the mound in the path you wish the slide to take. The process of sliding on your backside will begin to wear a groove into the snow. Continue climbing up the pile and sliding down it until the slide is formed.
Lie on the slide and push the sides of the sliding path itself outward to make the slide wider than your body. Push the sides out to form a slight bank.
Fill a jug with water and pour it slowly down the slide from the top. The water will run down the length of the slide and make it slippery and faster.
Fill a spray bottle with water and squirt the banks along the side of the slide to help make them firm.
