How to Insert the Nib on a Speedball Calligraphy Set

Calligraphy is one of the most elegant methods of writing known to man and has been around for hundreds of years. If penmanship truly is a dying art, learning calligraphy can get you on the right track to helping revive this form of expression and improve your writing skills. Calligraphy is also a pleasant hobby that can be performed in the privacy of your own home. The first thing you need to do before composing is add a nib to the pen of your calligraphy set.

     Take the thin cloth reserver that came included with your calligraphy pen and slide the end of it into the reservoir at the top of the nib.

     Slide the reserver all the way in until the tip of the reserver and the tip of the nib are even.

     Slide the nib (with the reserver attached) into the opening at the end of the pen holder. Slide it all the way in until it locks into place. The pen is now ready for use.
