How to Cut Circles in Wood With a Dremel

Dremel tools are made for a variety of projects. They can be used to buff metal, drill holes through a number of different materials and also cut circles. To cut circles with a dremel you will need a cutting bit that is made for wood. Cutting circles with a dremel is a relatively easy task, but to be done with precision it will require concentration and practice for most people. Cut circles in wood of any thickness as long as the thickness isn't deeper than the length of your cutting bit.

    • 2

Draw the circle on the wood using your compass.

    • 3

Turn on your dremel and position the bit inside the circle at a 50 degree angle. Hold the dremel with both hands and push the spinning bit through the wood. Position the dremel at a right angle to the wood once the bit has made its way through.
