How to Disable a Browning BT Shell Ejector

If you are a fan of trap and sport shooting, you probably are familiar with the Browning BT-series of sport shotguns. When a round is fired from this series of rifles, the shell is automatically discharged from the barrel of the weapon. This is a handy feature, but if you want a more classic approach, you can disable the shell ejector.

Instructions

    • 1

Point the shotgun away from you, and pull the bolt on the side of the barrel back to expose the chamber. Remove any shells in the chamber to unload the weapon.

    • 2

Locate the the thin metal latch on the top of the weapon, near the back of the barrel. This is the ejector latch.

    • 3

Slide the latch to the right, to disable the shell ejector. Slide the latch back to the left, to enable the shell ejector -- if desired later.
