Things You'll Need
Instructions
Take the Nitro kit out of the box. It is recommended the box is kept intact to use for transport to the ponds and pools after assembly. Place the main body of the Nitro in the stand.
Peel off the decals from the enclosed sheet and place them onto the boat in a design of your choice. The decals are peel-and-stick style and stay on in water.
Take the transmitter antenna out of the bag and insert it into the hole on the top of the transmitter box. Turn it clockwise to screw it into the transmitter.
Push open the battery housing panel on the bottom of the transmitter box. Push in eight, new AA batteries. Flip the transmitter switch to "On" and make sure the green light comes on, indicating the batteries are in the proper order. Close the panel.
Open the battery box in the Nitro boat. This is the receiver of the transmitter signals. Insert four AA batteries into the box and close the panel.
Turn the antenna latch dial on the back of the boat 1/2-turn and pull it off. Push the receiver antenna into the hole and turn it to lock into place on the receiver box.
Turn the receiver box on and the transmitter on. Stand behind the boat and push the controls to ensure they are working.
Screw the glow plug into the top of the engine. Insert the fuel hose into the fuel tank on the engine and fill almost to the top. Remove the hose and close the fuel nozzle on the tank.
Turn the throttle screw 1/8-turn counterclockwise when you are ready to run the engine. Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the screw.
