Instructions
Ensure the water tank is sufficiently filled to circulate heat. It is important not to use the RV Direct Spark without the appropriate levels of water; otherwise it can damage the tank.
Change the gas bottle if there is an erratic flame. It could be due to the current supply. You should also clean the orifice, main burner and "U" tube to make sure there are no obstructions which could be stooping the unit from functioning.
Clean around the pilot light area if it will not light. Use a cotton bud dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean around the orifice, removing dust and debris, which can impede the pilot light.
Tighten the ground screws if the unit intermittently fails to ignite. If this fails to remedy the issue, then have the spark electrode and thermostat replaced, as one -- or both -- are more than likely faulty.
