How to Disassemble a Franchi Renaissance Elite

The Franchi Renaissance Elite is an over-under shotgun primarily used in game hunting or skeet shooting. Like any gun, it is essential to maintain it by oiling and cleaning it regularly. To do this, you must first disassemble the shotgun. Since this weapon is designed to be taken apart quickly, the whole process won̵7;t take much time.

Instructions

  Pull the chamber lock back and remove any shell in the chamber.

  Twist the metal knob at the end of the wooden grip counterclockwise to loosen and remove it.

  Separate the barrel from the chamber assembly and stock by pulling the two halves of the gun apart.

  Pull the metal latch at the back of the shell chamber out of the unit.

  Slide the firing pin and rod out of the chamber assembly.
- 6
  Pull the metal lug out of the firing pin assembly and slide the spring out of the firing pin assembly.
- 7
  Unscrew the end of the firing pin assembly and pull the two halves of the assembly apart.
