How to Stop a BT-99 From Ejecting Shells

The BT-99 is a rifle that fires bullets encased in metal shells. Once the bullet is discharged, the shell casing is discharged through a slot in the weapon. The weapon is designed this way for convenience, but if you aren̵7;t interested in firing the rifle rapidly, the ejecting shells might just get in your way. To solve this problem, lock the gun so that when a round is fired it won't automatically discharge. You can then remove the casing yourself.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate the top lever of the BT-99. This is the metal lever at the rear of the barrel where it meets the stock of the gun.

    • 2

Slide the lever to the side to lock it. This locks the barrel bolt, which is fitted to the barrel lugs. This will lock the barrel and prevent discharge of the shell.

    • 3

Slide the top lever to its original position when you would like to unlock the bolt and have the weapon discharge the shells.
