Organize Closets
Turn your unorganized closet from last season into an organized mecca for your clothes and shoes. Get rid of any clothes you have not worn for the last year or two by donating them to charity or throwing them out, if they are ratty or unwearable. Do the same for your shoes. Organize you closet by type or color, depending on your preference. This will make it easy to find clothes and shoes and save you time in the morning or evening when you are getting ready.
Write Letters
Letter writing is a pastime that seemed to have disappeared when the technology age came along. People generally love to get a handwritten note, which shows a person took the extra time out of his day to sit down and compose his thoughts on paper. Write a letter to a friend who lives far away, to your parents or to your significant other. The letter doesn't have to be elaborate but simply an update on your life -- you can even say you are bored and felt like writing a letter to pass the time.
Read
Delve into a novel you have been waiting to devour but haven't had the time. Pick up the latest celebrity gossip magazines and catch up on your favorite star. Read the newspaper and learn about the current events happening in the world. Reading will exercise your mind and keep you from focusing on the fact that you are bored.
Start Blogs
Blogging is a way to communicate your thoughts, feelings and everything else to, well, the whole world. Go online and find a website that allows you to host a free blog. Many site offer free templates for you to set up your own personal blog. A personal blog will give you something to read and update on an ongoing basis, so whenever boredom strikes, you will be prepared.
