Remove the center nut holding the wheel in place with the small 4-way wrench that's included with the Traxxas Slash. Remove the wheel from the axle.
Loosen and remove the screw and threaded pin securing the bearing carrier to the A-arm of the RC truck with a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the bearing carrier out of the A-arm.
Pull the hex hub off the bearing carrier with a pair of pliers. Locate the pin inserted through the axle stub and push it out with the head of a slotted screwdriver.
Remove the washer from around the axle stub. Slide the bearing carrier off the axle stub. Remove the bearing residing within the bearing carrier and the bearing located on the axle stub. Wipe the axle stub with a soft cloth and apply WD-40 to the axle and bearings.
Insert a new bearing of similar size onto the stub axle, then insert another new bearing into the bearing carrier.
Slide the washer onto the axle stub and reinsert the pin through the axle. Press the hex hub onto the bearing carrier.
Reattach the bearing carrier onto the A-arm of the RC truck. Tighten the screw and threaded pin with a Phillips screwdriver.
Mount the wheel onto the axle and thread the center nut onto the wheel. Tighten the nut with the small 4-way wrench.
